I like this photo a lot too, but instead of it saying Buell (the brand of motorcycle), it is just the logo on the engine.

Cabin Fever
My lovely boyfriend has, once again, given me perfect inspiration for this week's theme. A couple weeks ago he decided to get a new motorcycle. What displays "cabin fever" more than buying a motorcycle in January in Chicago??

True Love
So this post is a little late, but strangely enough, I couldn't figure out what to do for this week's theme of "True Love." There are a lot of things in life I love, but I finally decided on a photo of the flowers that my lovely boyfriend not only bought me, but MADE me. They are made from light weight paper. I couldn't get the light in our house to work out exactly like I wanted, but here's what I got.

Drink Up
It was about 9 am and Steve and I were walking around the French Quarter when we saw this spilled drink. The best part was that the remnants that were on the ground weren't even dry yet, so someone had a loooonnnng night, but I'm glad because it was so perfect for this week's theme.

Shadows
I think I might have cheated a little ... I decided to take advantage of the different scenery in New Orleans and took some of the upcoming weeks photos in advance. I don't care if it's cheating though because I really like what I got for "shadows" this week.

Self Portrait
This past weekend Steve and I went to New Orleans for a little weekend away. So this is the image from last week that I would have posted on Sunday if I had been home. I had an idea that I was pretty excited about for my self portrait but I couldn't get it to work, so unfortunately I just settled on this. I don't love this, but I needed a photo and this isn't terrible (in my opinion). I took some other random photos (obviously) and I will post those later this week.

One Down, Two To Go
My father was lucky enough to have 3 girls, and on December 9th my big sister had a reception for her wedding (only 2 more weddings to go Dad!). I was honored to be able to take the photos for her and her new husband. It was a very small, intimate reception with the ceremony the day before, so most of the photos are portraits in downtown Naperville. These are some of my favorites ...
It was very family oriented day. I took the photos and our little sister did the flowers.
My sisters and I. I am the one who looks like she doesn't belong ...

"I Dreamed a Dream"
For years I dreamt and hoped (like most girls) that I would find someone that I could spend my life with. My knight in shining armor came into my life about a year and a half ago ... he is my dream =)
As amazing as Steve is, I also wanted to try another photo for this week. In 7th grade I didn't make the cheerleading team, then in 8th I made it but my coach did NOT like me and acted like I was the worst person in the entire world. In high school I cheered competitively and was really successful, and then in college I was captain of my cheer team, so it was kind of another dream. The foreground is a pom with my uniform top.
